Enhanced Chitosan

CELOX™ Rapid contains Chito-R™ activated chitosan granules that stick to wet tissue in the wound*. Chito-R™ forms an adhesive gel that seals the wound to stop the flow of blood, speeding up compression time. (2)

Tried and Tested

• CELOX™ gauze demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in survival (7%) and most evidently in the more severely injured (5).
• Independent comparative tests in the form of a meta-analysis reported a statistically significant improvement in survival with CELOX™ Gauze, compared to alternative agents (5).
