This one-inch, spiked (but non-sharp) steel ball is remarkably intuitive to use. Deployment is as easy as tossing a dart, allowing users to break glass from a safe distance without needing to approach the window directly. Its compact size and lightweight design make it effortless to carry and ready for immediate use. The Shatterball is also reusable and constructed from durable steel.

Some of the major advantages are ease of deployment with one hand, effectiveness at any distance, use on moving vehicles, and a substantial reduction in the risk of glass-related injuries. It makes emergency window breaches easier and provides a simple, inexpensive alternative to more dangerous, time-consuming methods. However, it’s important to remember that Shatterball doesn’t work on laminated glass, which is what windshields are made of and also found in a small percent of front door windows. If your vehicle has laminated glass in the front doors, we recommend installing the device through the rear door glass instead.
