When should I wash it…
Our lightweight comfort tops are breathable and extremely comfortable, but when they are underneath your body armour, you will naturally sweat throughout the day.
This sweat can lead to the buildup of sweat deposits, which in turn causes odour if not laundered correctly.
We recommend you wash after every wear, using the top tips below.
If you can, wash them together and toss them in your gym kit too, as they are made from the same fabrics, and these top tips will have you smelling sweeter for longer!
Do up zippers & buttons
It helps the garment hold its shape and stops other items snagging on the zippers.
You can wash as low as 20°C & up to 60°C*
Biological powder is advised, but non-bio will work just as well, if you follow the tips below!
*60°C is not recommended for customised garments.
Don’t use fabric conditioner
Why? Because it blocks the fabric's ability to breathe and wick sweat away from the body.
It also causes build-up in the fabric, and it's this that encourages bacteria growth, which can make you smell after a long shift!
Add a splash of white vinegar
To the fabric conditioner section in your machine, and if it's been a particularly tough shift, rub it on the high sweat areas, like under the arms. It is a simple yet very effective stain and odour remover and won't leave any lingering smells.
Then simply shake & hang up to dry
Best results if done whilst still damp – no ironing needed! Bonus!
